Euro Paper Talk: Liverpool has a "concrete" interest in Bundesliga attacker; Man Utd and Newcastle are expected to sign a La Liga midfielder with a €100 million departure clause following a dispute over the fee.

Javi Guerra is still Newcastle's and Manchester Utd top target.

Liverpool's interest in a fast Bundesliga winger has been verified as "concrete," while Manchester United and Newcastle might get a highly-rated La Liga midfield player with a €100 million release clause for as little as €35 million. All of this information was covered in Friday's Euro Paper Talk.

PRESENT DUO AVAILABLE TO SUBJECT TO TOP LALIGA STARLET

It appears that Manchester United and Newcastle have received more support in their pursuit of signing Javi Guerra, a gifted midfielder from Valencia, in 2024.

The La Liga team has recently alienated their own supporters by unloading players like Carlos Soler and Goncalo Guedes, and it now seems as though they are prepared to profit from Guerra as well.

The 20-year-old is the most recent graduate of their Paterna program, and it is anticipated that any transaction will cause controversy.

Guerra has proven himself worthy of a starting position this season, putting up strong performances to the point where Newcastle and Manchester United are taking a keen interest.

The youthful midfield player, whose contract has a €100 million release clause that expires in 2027, has also been connected to Juventus.

But it was recently disclosed that the Yellow Submarine could potentially earn millions from any deal because his former team, Villarreal, has a 30% sell-on clause.

Guerra available for cut-price fee

Fans of Los Che will be even less satisfied with the possibility that he could now be had for as little as €35–40 million instead.

According to tuttomercatoweb, Guerra is expected to draw a lot of interest at that price point and attract many suitors.

As one of the best young players in Spanish football, the player's potential departure to the Premier League would not only hurt Valencia but also LaLiga as a whole.
